Dear New Friends In Christ,
I'm Fr. Rick Stoffel, pastor of Resurrection Catholic Church here in Allenton, and am excited to welcome YOU and YOUR FAMILY to YOUR NEW PARISH. Allenton and the vicinity is a growing community, filled with a warm spirit of welcome. With Washington County being one of the fastest growing counties in this part of Southeastern Wisconsin, one of the best places to meet friendly, new people is church. Founded anew in 1997 from a merger of three smaller, older parishes, Resurrection is a vibrant faith community with much to offer new members; an engaging religious formation program, and friendly Masses where, if you don't know everyone's name at first, you soon will. You will feel like you've always belonged before you know it ... check us out ... and I think you'll find friends in Allenton!

Thank you for taking a look at what the Resurrection Catholic Church faith community has to offer you and your loved ones. Resurrection Parish thrives on face to face and online interaction as a means of being active within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. If you are new to Resurrection, we encourage you to introduce yourself, explore our parish, attend weekly Mass, and other parish events. Don’t be a stranger! We welcome all people!
Mass is one of the best ways to get a feel for any parish. Saturday evening Mass is at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday Mass is at 8:30 a.m. Daily Masses are held on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Friday at 8:00 a.m.
You are encouraged to sit in the front pews with your children so that they can see, and stay in the pews when your children are a little fussy. In the first three pews in the front of church you will find laminated cards to help children follow along with Mass and help them to identify the various items in church. Please leave the cards in the pews. Pick up a "Whispers in the Pews" resource, located in the main entrance, to take home which provides helpful ways to understand, connect and celebrate Mass with children. They are the future of carrying on our faith!
Feel free to contact us by phone or by email. You may also drop-in as well during regular Parish Office Hours. We are happy to answer questions about our parish, about the Mass, about the Catholic Church today, and about how we can serve you.
You can sign up anytime by visiting the Parish Office. If you’d like to fill out your forms ahead of time, click on the Membership Registration Form for a printable copy.
Recommended Parishioner Dues
Family - $500/year Single - $250/year
These amounts are a baseline. Prayerfully consider all the blessings you receive and what you can truly afford to give as a faithful steward of these gifts.
We all know what it was like to be new. Though it can be both exciting and scary, there are plenty of ways to get to know parishioners by volunteering at Mass or joining committees, outreach programs, musical ministries, and pastoral ministries! Check out our various Ministries and Volunteer opportunities.

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! However, we do request that shorts be of a conservative length (no “short-shorts”) and that in general, clothing be respectable and conservative.
Our parish is located at 209 Main Street, Allenton, WI 53002. Here is a map.
Our parking lot is accessed from Church Street, turning south off of Main Street at the corner where are church is located.
There’s no need to be self-conscious about the postures and responses used during worship. Most visitors just follow the lead of the other parishioners.
Communion, or The Eucharist, is the most intimate expression of our faith. Catholics believe that the host is literally the Body of Christ, transformed from bread by the priest presiding at the Mass. Most evangelicals think of Communion as symbolic, so it makes sense that they are not as strict about having the right relationship to it as Catholics and Orthodox Christians who believe it is a sacrament and the true presence of Christ. So, if you are not Catholic, we ask that you not receive communion. However, those not receiving the Body of Christ and Precious Blood are invited to come forward with their hands crossed over their chests for a special blessing.
If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering; you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider our parish your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to our parish on a weekly basis. Financial gifts of thanks may be given by check or cash during the service.
We would love to welcome you to our church. Join us for a Mass, learn more about our parish and register with our church at the link below.
