CONGREGATION OF RESURRECTION PASTORAL COUNCIL
NOMINATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Nominations are being accepted for the Resurrection Pastoral Council. Two council members will be elected.

The current Pastoral Council is comprised of three ex officio members (the Pastor, Fr. Rick, and two Lay Parish trustees, currently John Bingen and Wayne Sovinski); and six representatives-at-large from the parish.

The six representatives-at-large are divided into three separate groups, with two members elected each year to serve a three-year term. Resurrection Parish’s current representatives and their respective terms are as follows:

• Term Expires 2023 (Group 1): Dennis Proeber & Denise Rate
• Term Expires 2024 (Group 2): Robert Bingen & Kyle Rate
• Term Expires 2025 (Group 3): Dennis Wiedmeyer & Karin Hug

Denise Rate is not seeking another term. Prayerfully consider nominating yourself, or someone else, to become a part of this important ministry. The council meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Qualities of representatives are someone who is:

• Open and sensitive to the needs and ideas of others
• Able to express themselves and to discuss issues in a respectful way
• Willing to collaborate with others
• Able to reach consensus on council matters
• Able to attend and participate at council meetings (2nd Wednesday of each month at 7 pm)

You are invite to nominate yourself or another parishioner for membership on the Pastoral Council for a three-year term of service. Nomination forms are due by July 2.

Eligibility:

• Baptized Catholic
• At least 18 years of age
• Active member of our Parish
• Not an employee of the Parish
