Salzmann Library Spring Lecture

With the Archdiocese of Milwaukee celebrating its 175th anniversary, we wanted to pick a speaker and topic that would relate to the history of the Archdiocese. Father Steven Avella will be presenting the lecture entitled "Our Seminary." Father Avella is a professor of history at Marquette University, specializing in American Catholic history. He has written a number of books and articles, including two books on the history of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. He has also written articles and edited works on the Saint Francis de Sales Seminary, making him an ideal figure to speak on aspects of the seminary.

The lecture will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Inner Commons of Henni Hall, at the Saint Francis de Sales Seminary.

If you want to see/print out a flyer for the event, please click here.  Everybody is welcome to attend, so please share the information.

If you do want to join us, please let us know either by emailing me at mschrauth@sfs.edu or calling the library at 414-747-6479 so we can have an estimate for chairs and space.
